How do We Celebrate Christmas in Singapore?

Christian celebrate christmas and they exchange gifts and they called it marry christmas .
Despite being a multicultural identity, all the Singaporeans join hands and celebrate Christmas with the same enthusiasm and vigor as they celebrate their own cultural festival. The streets in Singapore are lighted up and beautifully decorated that holds on to the festive spirit of Singapore Christmas. Modern customs of Christmas include giving gifts to your near and dear ones and decorating your house with beautiful Santa Claus, Christmas tree, streamers and different colored lights

Meaning of Deepavali, Very Briefly


Deepavali in usually during the end of the year , we are going to talk about the row of light.

Deepavali in Sanskrit means 'rows of lights'. So it is quite apt to call Deepavali the 'Festival of Lights'.
There are several legends which explain why lamps are lit during Deepavali. But there seems to be a common theme about these legends: good will eventually overcome evil. So by lighting lamps during Deepavali, Hindus celebrate the victory of light over darkness.






Hari Raya Haji Festival In Singapore



Hari Raya Haji is also know as the Iduladha or Qurban in Singapore. The meaning of the fastival is Pilgrimage Day of celebration. This day is celebrated to herald a conclusion to the Haji pilgrmage to Mecca pilgrims who cover their distance to Mecca are given the title of Haji (for men) or Hajjah (for women) respectively. On this auspicious day of Hari Raya Haji Fastival,goats or buffaloes are sacrificed ritully in the name of Allah (God) and the meat is given to the destitute and the poor.

The Coat Of Arms

We are happy to learn about Belize " The Coat of Arms ".
Belize is a town in America and Belizean spoke English and
Spanish . Now we are going to talk about the coat of arms .

The shield of the Coat of Arms is divided into three sections by a vertical line and an inverted V.The base section represents a ship in full sail on waves of the sea.The two upper sections show tools of the timber industry in Belize: a paddle and a squaring axe in the right section and saw and a deating axe in the left section.


Supporting in the shield are two woodcutters,the one one the right holding a deating axe over his shoulder in his right hand,and the one on the left holding a paddle over his shoulder in his left hand.

Chinese New Year

In Singapore, we celebrate Chinese New Year. The Chinese children collect red packets from elders as a sign of good luck. We celebrate Chinese New Year first with a reunion dinner on the eve of New Year. It is here where we get to sit down and eat with entire family, including our relatives whom we do not see often.
